Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in the city of St. Louis St. Louis, Missouri. She performed in The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia granted her a degree with a laude for Theatre and Communication. Her career began with the city of Los Angeles as a theater performer and choreographer, choreographing around 20 plays and musicals. They included The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan and The Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera's The Musical Peter Pan. She also performed seven main roles in LA's Storybook Theatre. Kelly started to get film and television roles while studying improvisations in The Groundlings. It is her voice and diminutive stature that have enabled Kelly to be able to take on a range of different characters. Her name was well-known to the public for taking on the part of the vile Samara as Naomi Watts, in The Ring 2. But her most well-known role is as the cheerful and bright receptionist in Two and a Half Men. Kelly was an TV Land Series Regular from 2011 to 2015, starring as paralegal during the daytime, and as an evening party-goer. Kelly also appeared as Alyssa's charming, smart sister in the ABC show Romantically Challenged and as the mother of a stressed suburban family in the CW show No Tomorrow. Her soprano voice has been featured in a variety of shows such as Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. Her most recent performance was playing the dim, charming Cloud 9 staffer on NBC hit comedy Superstore. With her husband and their two children, she leads a quiet life.
