Chando is a current citizen of New York City. Chando began her acting career at Manhattan College. Chando played the character Maddie Coleman in the TV soap opera As The World Turns from 2005-2007 and for a couple of months starting late 2009 when she returned to the character. The first time she appeared on stage was the TV show House Blend in which she appeared as Jenna Harper. As the World Turns on CBS was her first television performance following three years. Chando starred in American documentaries True life and Sherri in 2009; she also appeared as Maddie Coleman in As the World Turns. She starred two episodes in the American drama-comedy TV show Glory Daze. The other TV credits she has are Castle, Hindsight Dead People, and Outcast.
